The 5km route takes in most of the landmarks and scenery that the 12.8km route has to offer, albeit from a greater distance. The out-and-back run offers wide views of Singapore’s splendid city skyline.

Starting and finishing at the Singapore Sports Hub, the run skirts the Marina Reservoir for the entirety of the run. The open views afford the runners a good look at Singapore’s city splendour.
